Fessing up

Yep, I've been sick. That was the begining of the non-post era of my life. I wasn't blogging and I wasn't really reading anyone's blog. I did a little emailing when I could sit up, but that was about it.



But that was over a week ago. I still have a cough, but I'm fully capable of throwing something frozen in the oven and cooking dinner and eating and sleeping. Surely I should be blogging, right? Nope. I'm lazy. My house is a wreck, my neck is aching, and I'm a whiny, fat, miserable pregnant person with over half of this 9 months left. Argh.



It all began during the sickness. I had this great set-up in my bedroom with the laptop at the foot of my bed open to my gmail account. I would lay around in a coughing stuppor waiting for "you've got mail" and then be delighted to communicate with the outside world. This really was all I could do because when I would talk I would lose control of the cough and not be able to breath. Then, I lost my internet connection from the bedroom. That stunk. It never came back and didn't work in the livingroom either. My head was still fuzzy so I just left the laptop out and went back to bed. Oops. Tasha was home, I was asleep, and she was bored. Several days later Bill went to investigate said problems with the laptop and wanted to know why there were keys missing. Oops.



So now I have to sit at the computer desk, cluttered with unopened mail and bills that need to be paid, looking at the wall and a really old gingerbread house that hasn't been thrown out yet. It's depressing really, so I don't like to go online. Plus, my blogline is set up on the laptop so it takes some effort to get to everyone's blog since I don't know the addresses. Basically I work off one or two blogs and look for comments and then click on their name to go to their blog.



And, to top it all off, when I go to post I get the "bad request" line from my computer. It tells me I'm either malformed or illegal. It just really doesn't like me. Probably because it knows how much I've been bad mouthing it lately.



So, sorry 5 friends that count on me to comment and post. I can't even put up a picture for Wordless Wednesday because all my pictures are on my laptop! I had to dig up a picture from Christmas to get my free 8x10 from Walgreens today. Blah, blah, blah. Whine, whine, whine.
